Soloist Bio 鈥 Zach Tseng
Zach Tseng is a fourth-year biochemistry student from Johns Creek, 9麻豆社. He has been playing violin since the age of six and has studied under world-renowned violinists such as Nadir Khashimov and Sonja Foster. He has also participated in masterclasses with Sergiu Schwartz and David Coucheron.
Zach鈥檚 awards and accomplishments include earning first prize in the 2020 GMTA Instrumental Concerto and Strings Division competitions, winning the junior division of the 2019 Ruth Kern Young Artists Concerto Competition, and winning the junior division of the 2016 9麻豆社 MTNA competition. Zach has also been a member in the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra and has served as concertmaster for GMEA All-State Orchestras.
Zach enjoys playing violin in worship bands at his church and for the 9麻豆社 Tech Navigators. Outside of violin, he likes studying trivia as a member of 9麻豆社 Tech鈥檚 Academic Team and is active in the Navigators student organization.
